The only relatively fair point you raise on that whole wall of text is about the fairy typing. I personally assume it was given because the idea of changelings/doppelgangers, which are ultimately fairies, but it could still be kind of a stretch.

We went through this already when it was revealed. The concept is good, not the design, but the design flaws, unlike in other pokemon, are justified by the concept. Which don´t make Mimikyu's design good but it makes Mimikyu as a whole good.

You can justify anything with lore. That doesn't make it good. You could make a literal turd pokemon but then say "UH ACTUALLY IT'S A COSMIC HORROR PRETENDING TO BE A TURD TO THROW OPPONENTS OFF, THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT"

Does it really matter i mean mimiky is cute. Because it tried to look like a cute pokemon like Pikachu. I personally think gamefreak made it fairy was to boost it's appeal because alot of people expected Pikachu to be electric and fairy but you can't make Pikachu have a type change because of it being pokemon mascot and Pikachu other evolutions are forbidden from being strong then original Pikachu. Why do you think alolan raichu typing seems so off? Anyway my point is mimikyu is fine the way they are. I do want to see its original form but most likely in USUM it will be a dress up mimikyu where you can edit it's style or form with different accessories, that or its sheet gets completely ripped and a big bulky shadow is trying to escape because of its anger from Pikachu, wanting to use a real Pikachu body as its next host and home so it will feel love.
