Facts.
>>33278237
Mabye it is a reference to it being the first pokemon created that was actually meant to be a pokémon.
Even more evidence the art direction in HGSS is garbage.
>Rhydon Statue
>Rhydon is the first pokemon designed
>Missingno. evolves into Rhydon because it picks the first pokemon in the index
Rhydon created Arceus. Rhydon is canonically stronger than all pokemon.
>>33278261
I doubt anyone at Gamefreak even remembers what the hell they are. The cat is probably just how the Origins designer always saw them.
>>33278280
It really is. It's so sad because GSC's official artwork is peak Sugimori and the GBC had a very nice color palette to work with, and they royally fucked up just about everything but the Gym Leader designs.
>>33278237
Did DP seriously reuse the statue from gen 3?
>>33278319
Not quite. My bad.
>>33278337
I'm autistic sorry. I mean yes exactly.
>>33278266
No.
>thinking too hard: the thread
>>33278352
Hey Richard, you forgot the filename on that one.Though I doubt Machoke would canonically be stronger than Arceus. I think "boundless" is a bit of an exaggeration, as language allows. Wouldn't you say?
>>33278480
exaggeration don't exist in the Pokédex.
Facts are facts.
>>33278501
Exaggeration does exist in the Pokédex because that's how language works. For example, there's that bit about Slugma where it sleeps near magma but also never sleeps according to two different Pokédex entries. I believe the second one, saying that it never sleeps, is exaggeration. What are your thoughts?
>>33278507
The Pokédex never lies.
>>33278626
I don't think you could possibly justify the amount of stuff you're taking literally for no reason rn.
>>33278626
Rotom is such a troll in S/M though.
>>33278663
Mew can't learn crabhammer
>>33278626

The Pokédex never lies about anything.
And Rotom is a Pokémon.
>>33278687
Facts are facts.
>>33278672
No. Mew learn every move in existence.
You guys should know better than trying to talk to a broken record.
Why does the Pokedex contradict itself with Slugma?
>>33278237
In the Adventures manga, they look like this. Vaguely Kangaskhan-esque golems.
>>33278641
>>33278737
That's not a contradiction.
You thought Magikarp Pokédex entries were contradicting each other However you were wrong. The Pokédex never lies about anything.
>>33278777
>It never sleeps
>It sleeps near lava
>Not blatant contradictions.
>>33278777
so does it sleep or not?

>>33278701
>so it can learn any move taught to it.
So all we need is someone who knows how to teach Crab Hammer...
>>33278793
If you can't understand that it sleeps ONLY near magma you are beyond hope.
>>33278809
Thing is, that would make the "never sleeps" entry inaccurate.
>>33278777
Why do you do this? Everybody hates you, nobody believes you. It's such a pointless endeavor, preaching your autistic ideology of Pokedex objectivity. You could just stop being an obstinate piece of shit, stop making these threads, and probably figure out a way to be happy.
>>33278814
it is implied that it never sleeps away from lava
>>33278817
But according to you it's just facts. There are no implications, therefore it's just wrong.
>>33278817
Everything in the Pokédex is fact. The Pokédex never lies about anything.
>>33278737
>>33278793
It's saying that if it sleeps it's body will cool and harden, but if it sleeps near magma then that's avoided. It isn't hard lad.
>>33278797
precisely. but that would be as ridiculous as a softboiled tutor...
The pokedex said something untrue one time.
>>33278872
Never
>>33278793
There are no contradiction.
>>33278868
The Pokedex says it doesn't sleep, so it doesn't do that.

>>33278352

>>33279209

Never means never, the pokedex is always fact

>>33278970
Ironically the descriptions of the legendary pokémos are the most truthful.
Above all because many of them have feats in the games that reaffirm what was said in the Pokédex.
*Clearly Machoke's description is a hyperbole, which does not have to be taken literally.
>>33279246
It doesn't matter how you look at it, one pokedex entry is wrong and therefore, not a fact.
>>33279265

Anti-Richardfags are just as autistic as Richard. Fact.
>>33279331
Not an argument Richard, the pokedex entry is still wrong.
>>33279338
>>33279331
To say that everything in the pokedex is wrong or false because of a contradictory description is somewhat ridiculous.
Also that description of Slugma has not been repeated since emerald, so it could easily have been a translation error.
>>33279331
I'd argue they're more autistic, since they keep falling for the same retarded bait.
>>33279344
translation "errors" are canon, the ribbon descriptions for the first contests had the categories mistranslated and they never fixed them, they had normal, super, hyper, master rank ribbons & they kept it , newer contest ribbons now have the correct translation, also, I never said the entirety of the pokedex is wrong, I said "pokedex entry", not "pokedex entries"
>>33279344
No idea what it says
>>33279344
The Japanese dex entry says exactly the same thing.

>multiverse
yes it is
>>33279321
Almost all legendary Pokémon have some sort of disclaimer in the Pokédex entry though. It's an intentional aspect of their dex entries that it isn't actually known for certain whether the "legends" surrounding them are true, or if it's just a story passed down by the local people, and the Pokémon itself is just powerful and rare, but not actually gods.
>>33278745
>STILL liking golem
>>33280313
>It appears in an ancient cemetary
That's an odd name for the distortion world. And that sentence is stated as fact
>>33280339
Exactly. According to the Pokédex, it is fact that it appears in an ancient cemetery, however whether it actually lives in a world on the reverse side of ours is unknown.
As far as the Pokédex claims, it could easily be exactly the same as every other Ghost-type Pokémon, it doesn't necessarily have to be some deity representing alternate dimensions or whatever Giratina is

Just the pants.

https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Distortion_World
>>33280357
reverse side of ours = antimatter parallel universe.
>>33280403
That's fine, I'm not claiming that legendaries definitely aren't the deities/spiritual personifications that they're usually credited as, just that the games do generally leave it ambiguous how much of the fiction-within-fiction is meant to be true.
>>33280313

>>33281596
You do well...
Super autism thread. The fuck?
>>33280227
But that's some of the best lore in the game
>>33281529
As, I said before.
No Pokémon is a mistake.
Strictly speaking it's not really rhydon, at least not exactly as we know it, it's just the generic kaiju shape from where a lot of gen 1 pokemon (rhydon, kangaskhan, nidoking...) derive from. Rhydon was the first fully fleshed out concept to originate from it and the one that resembles it the most.
Explain this then

The immobilty must be an internal property of the immovable object; mobility is relative, so if I move around such object, you can also say that that I'm immobile and such object is moving around.
So the unstopable object must be in motion in relation to the immobile object and the immobile object must be motionless in relation to the unstopable object. Which respects the internal properties of both of them.
