Yes. There was only one type that resisted it, and one type (aside from itself) that was super effective on it, but Ice types are fucking garbage, so whenever you saw any dragon click Dragon Dance and Outrage, they basically won the game.

I like the fact that fairies give poison (and steel) types something to do. But their resistance to bug was unnecessary. Instead of fire it would be better if grass and bug resist fairy now alongside poison and steel. Dragon immunity should go to ice.

And as of now, fairy type is so one-sided designwise with mostly pink/cutesy barbie-mons, it's uninteresting. I'd love to see gf start exhaust the tying's potential and give us some badass mythological beings like minothaurs, werewolves, lord of the ring style elves (why isn't gallade fairy/fighting?!), other fairy tale characters and mystical monstrous beasts.
This would change most people's attitude towards the type! The Tapus are a nice start. I wish Primarina was more creepy/frightening
