I like the Silver dynamic of him having Pokemon that evolve via high friendship, but I hate the Lucario. Drop that.

Give him a strong dragon, like Salamance or Kommo-o, but probably not the latter.

his best edgy-but-friendly team would probably be silvally, lucario, crobat, weavile, umbreon, and night lycanroc
of course silvally buffs would help
