Ok so I've seen the word shill being thrown around here a lot, so in order for this board not to become /v/ I think it's best if we determine the difference between being a shill and being optimistic.
Shill
>USUM will be great! stop criticizing gamefreak they've done so much for you guys and all you do is complain!
Optimist
>Although we don't anything about USUM we shouldn't call it shit yet. It might be good
OP stop being a faggot
I think people need to be educated on how to disagree without being an ass here, and then we can get into advanced behaviors

Quads of truth.
>>33270000
You are vastly underestimating why 4chan's culture is the way it is and why people come here. It is not merely a lack of education.
>>33270112
Either way it's awful and doesn't need to be this way
"It's 4chan" is not a good excuse
>>33269981
Just don't think about it.
This hole site is just bait
>>33270177
Even if you made this thread every day for a month, you wouldn't be able to shift or change board culture one fucking inch.
what about "we know literally nothing wait and fucking see holy shit"
>>33270177
It obviously has an appeal. Even for you, since you'd rather see it changed than simply go somewhere else.
The negativity, depravity, and anonminity are actually the biggest draws. It gives people an outlet and a vicarious thrill. Sometimes, people simply have a need to stir the pot, be pessimistic, tell a complete stranger to go fuck themselves, and most importantly, to be part of a social scene or culture where they feel like they can fit in by doing these things. This is the Pokemon variety of that kind of place anon. Now fuck off and eat shit.

That's not OP I'm OP
>>33269981
I really hope they unfuck the online experience!
>>33270455
Real shit thread you got going here, "real" OP
>>33270400
The only reason I come back is the format, I can't stand most of the dime a dozen 4chan boys
>>33270659
>muh format
I guess content doesn't matter when you have autism.
>>33270686
Well yeah, doesn't matter if a game has tons of quality content if basic character movement is like pulling nails. Same applies to navigating website layouts.
>>33270707
Gee, that'd be a decent metaphor if /vp/ wasn't exactly the fucking opposite of what you described. Going by your metaphor, /vp/ is a game that has enjoyable character movement and absolutely terrible content. Which is exactly why you're a pathetic fucking idiot for providing that basis as the reason for why you keep coming back here.

I agree with him, he seems cool and sensible
