Maybe our Z-Ring gets upgraded into like an "Ultra Z-Ring" or something when we get to Ula Ula

Maybe they'll even go the extra mile and have our regular Z-ring get destroyed in the story,
XD did something like it in the story where the Snag Machine gets stolen, so we have to raid Team Snagems base to get it back, even encountering some shadow pokemon that we couldnt catch until later.

Maybe Team Skulls breaks our Z-Ring so part of the Po Town arc is getting a new one
