This pisses me off the most. We could have gotten a decent console game but now we'll probably get the shittiest of both worlds:
A main series locked to a home console and the shitty graphical "style" of a handheld on something I can't even take with me on my commute.

Look, the Vita has a nicer screen (brighter and more receptive to touch), a better battery life (lasts twice as long on average, even when game pushes the system to the limit), is cheaper and easier to find (if you pay scalper prices you are trash and hurt the video game economy as a result), more portable (even if you remove the half-functioning joycons), AND has a superior online service (Switch require you to use a phone and download an additional app to your phone just to use voice chat while the Vita does it all seamlessly without needing any of that, and unlike the Switch, the Vita's online is free, even next year, where as the Switch online will start charging you next year).

I like Nintendo, and I like Pokemon, but even I know that the Vita is underrated and beats out the overrated switch any day of the week.

Touch a switch first. Just the hardware alone crushes the vita.

- Bigger/ brighter screen with better resolution. You are really delusional if you think the vita has a better screen. OLED is not even close to IPS. If you're samsuang sure MAYBE not this 5 generations ago OLED screen with piss poor color calibration.

- Batter life is debatable. Switch may last only 3 hours playing intensive games but the games looks 100X better than any vita games. Switch also has AMAZING sleep capabilites. You can go in and out of games instantly. Low power sleep mode is even better than the 3ds. It last far longer too DAYS in sleep mode.

- Controls...I don't even need to explain this one. The best hand held controllers in the market packed with features and are extremely comfortable.

- Portable? It lighter and slimmer than a vita.

- Software? It takes a piss and shit on Shita.

- Online? nobody plays vita anymore zero online communities.... DEAD online. Swittch is buzzing and alive.

I love Sony, and I like Pokemon, but even I know the vita is a piece of shit.

My point is that 3DS couldn't handle lighting effects like this without taking a massive hit on framerate.

I don't think people realized how massive of jump it is from 3ds to switch.

The 3ds is capable of 4.8 Glfops
The switch is over 500 Glfops.
The switch is over 100 times more powerful than the 3ds.
This is undoubtedly the biggest hardware/generation leap EVER.

I'm eagerly waiting the first trailer. I know FOR A FACT Graphically it is going to blow everyone away.
