Bit of a meme set but it's worked out ok for me. Then again I'm not on showdown. Also Z-haze gives Aurous all it's health back with is neat.

Calm Mind leftovers Reuniclus, skydrop tailwind aerodactyl, and physical nidoking w/ suckerpunch and thunderpunch work great on my sand team.

During the weather wars era I carried a shell smash omastar on my team with swift swim. The thought process being; sp def boost in sandstorm, but swift swim boost vs rain teams. Worked alright, omastar could have a better movepool to work with but at least shell smash hits goddam hard with that already high special attack.

things with magic guard are also nice for more options like Reuniclus.

Though obviously the meta has changed quite a bit since I used to run sandstorm teams.

have you tried special wall tyranitar? with 252 hp/ 252+ sp def and SS boost it can tank the fuck out of special attackers and hit back with thunderwave/rockslide for a cheap paraflinch setup.

exca is incredibly strong, iron / ground stab is generally good and iron head is great for cheesing kills in a pinch, has rock slide to round off generally solid coverage, gets some mileage out of z move use, can run swords dance or rapid spin (probably better you don't). and, it has all of this while outspeeding basically the entire unscarfed meta while in sand. on TOP of that, it's the most viable sandstorm abuser.
