Still kinda wish it could have been Popplio evolving rather than a miscellaneous Brionne. Unless it happens to evolve in that episode and we witness two Brionnes.
Not a big fan of Primarina and as much as I try, I can't see Lana with one. Lana with Popplio as Brionne though, that'd be a cheery couple.

That's up to the writers to decide. I wouldn't mind it staying Popplio either honestly, but it's a bit of a lack of potential as well.
Kinda odd seeing Popplio look so hardcore in the anime (violent even, it was literally smacking Rowlet in that one episode), comparing Lana's Popplio to the other stages feels like Popplio wouldn't be quite the same if it evolved.
