It depends on what classic/modern mechanics stay. Is the Special stat back or would the games still have SpAtk/SpDef? Would held items stay because of Megas and Z-Moves or would they be removed entirely?

I meant as RBY with all the new pokemon, abilities and items. So
>every pokemon can maximize their stats
>sleep takes a turn to wake up
>crits are determined by speed
>moves are either special or physical depending on typing

Slaking quickly becomes a replacement for Tauros with its absurd stat spread without Truant, and people will run Regigigas as well to basically get a SECOND Slaking.
Lugia becomes one of the Bulk Gods due to its HP, Defense and Special.
Without form(e)s, Mewtwo still rules as the Special Psychic God, but Deoxys acts as a secondary Mewtwo with far less bulk.
Pheromosa manages to be useful for its 151 speed, so it can outspeed LITERALLY EVERYTHING other than Ninjask for putting dents in the opposition or revenge kills.
