What's everyone's favorite pokemon related song?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w2O3-Xk_gXE
kinda freaking out about the possibility of dying and what happens after
>>33252519
I've always figured it was nothing, but that's comforting in a sense. I mean, you as a person exists in other people as an idea and what you've done while alive will still have some influence, the atoms that make you up will return to the earth and continue existing, and worry, sadness, and so on will no longer plague you.
I mean, yeah, it'll be sad in a sense to no longer have a consciousness, but that's why you've got to do the things you want while you're still alive. You've got an eternity to rest.
>>33252519
This pretty natural and most people actually go through this. You're not alone anon
>>33252574
that isn't restful to me that's just terrifying

Good to see another comfy thread, especially after what happened last night.
A nasty storm came over my town. It was ridiculous. Thunder struck at least once a second, the wind was so strong that firetrucks couldn't even leave the garage because they'd just fall over to their sides and most of the roof tiles are gone on my neighbors houses. One of my window is cracked, thanks to golfball sized hale, and it bloody snowed. In the middle of August. Not to mention how the street turned into a river. I need some comfies, I'm stressed as fuck. Apparently we're cut off because trees fell down onto the road. Will keep you updated comfy fellas. It's so bleak outside...
>>33254375
Where do you live, my friend? I'm inLouisianaand it's been raining lightly here for the last few days, but nothing that lasts for any time.
>>33252777
well it just is what it is. gotta make room for future generations at some point.
>>33254441
Central Europe. The winds were pretty local though, from what I know so far the city 15 km's away didn't experience it so. Only my town and a few surrounding villages, so don't count on finding any news on that.
>>33254375
Small update: most of the trees have been cleared up. The construction of the freeway right outside my town is set back. One digger broke, and lightning struck one of the dump trucks, burning out some fuses. The viaduct is flooded, and workers are waiting for a pump. All the dirt roads are mud so goodbye cycling for a day or two.

I know it's cool to hate on Togedemaru, but it looks adorable here.
Good to see /comfy/ is still strong after Bui
>>33254375
Stay strong friend, /comfy/ is always here
>>33258046
I don't get the hate Togedemaru gets. It's a very cool pokemon IMO. With that being said, I do have a soft spot for those electric rodents. Plusle, Minun, Pachirisu and Togedemaru are among my favorite electric types.
>>33258962
Thanks fella. It's much better outside now. There's still some mud on the street and most of the tiles have been picked up. Lucky me I'm going on a short vacation tomorrow to the mountains. Gonna relax after some tough stuff recently.
And then it's off to study in September. Barely the 3rd year and I'm already burned out. /vp/'s been a great support and I'm happy to have some of ya' here. Guess what I want to say is thanks. Yeah. Thank you.
All right I'm gonna go to sleep soon. You guys hang tight and have a good one.
>>33258979
I do too but I don't like Togedemaru having a head-tail
I have shit dangling from my asshole hairs right now.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6hGWPmW4OxI
>>33252519
I've been thinking about this too, anon.
In fact I've been wondering whether or not the afterlife exists. Having an afterlife makes death much less painful knowing that somehow after your life ends you would be allowed to simply get some rest and a bit of "vacation time".
I mean, living sure as hell isn't easy. Humans deal with things like sadness, pain, disease and so forth, I'm inclined to believe that there is a possibility of something friendlier awaiting you over at the other side.
What do you all think about the possibility of afterlife, anons?
>>33261415
easily one of the best routes in the entire game
>>33263265
I can almost not stop thinking about death.
it's the most horrifying thing to think about, to not exist. It's the thing I'm the most scared of.
Also spiders
FUCK spiders
>>33252777
I know that feeling, there have been times where I would also get scared of being unconscious forever after death. But I'd rather focus on the present and have fun with the things I have and be with the people I love, because it's a whole lot more fulfilling than just worrying.
Life is short and you have one chance at it, so it's best to make the most out of your life. You said that there's a lot you want to do, so you should start making goals on what you want to do and see. Invite your friends to places too, because it's so much more fun with them around.
>>33265393
I wish I couldn't say this, but that's easy for you to say. I want to do stuff, I want to fulfill my dreams, but I don't really have anyone I could do this with. Just me, really. I'm my best and only friend in this.
If you still love this game, then don't listen to the haters. Listen to your heart. Be positive.
i hope ur all havin a comfy weekend, lovely anons

Fuck, listening to Pokemon music late at night is so comfy. Have your opinions on the games all you want but you have to admit the OST is top notch.

Ahh, nothing quite like listening to the PMD OST while sitting on a beanbag chair in a costa coffee sippinh on a large cup of americana. Hope y'all are having a great weekend comfy pals.

God, the PMD RB backgrounds are SO comfy
>>33277733
Digits confirm.
G'day, cozy fellas. How are ya'? Did anything exciting recently?
I talked with a friend recently, and he reminded me of how great character development was in PMD Explorers. I felt more attached to Eevee, my partner than anyone in any game since or prior. Just the way she overcame her cowardice, and put all her trust in me even in the face of death. Some of the background characters were more interesting than most characters in RPG's of today. Also, bump.
I will not let this die. I will bump it so hard it will probably die either way, but later.
>>33280867
Don't worry, I've got your back.

What do you guys want to see in Pokémon Switch?
I haven't been this hyped for a game since XY was announced. The Switch is so much more powerful than anything we've played Pokémon on before... They have a real chance to make this something beautiful.
>>33282450
Is it going to be mainline Pokémon? I thought it was going to be a different RPG or something
>>33282491
It will be a core title
>>33282450
>something beautiful
Unfortunately that depends 100% of GameFreak, no matter how much of a hardware improvement it is. It could turn out to be just as unfinished as XY.
>>33282430
I was wondering how long it would take for someone to notice I cropped out Latios' huge shlong. Either way, is this better?
>>33282839
Fool me once.

real good stuff guys
>>33265393
I really needed this, thanks anon. We went camping and I had a lot of fun.
>>33282523
GF needs to expand or let Nintendo do some of the heavy lifting.
>>33252519
I honestly don't think it's that ridiculous to think there's a
transcendental being with a higher purpose that we simply can't
perceive with our earthly minds. I mean, this world, it's far too
complex to be an accident, that seems like it should be common sense,
there's some theories that try and pussy foot around it, but I think
any other answer is just too simple, even if the world is as old we
say it is, it had to of had a mind that triggered everything and
guided certain things to happen, I believe as a race, we're guided but
we also have free will.
Think of this, a lottery machine filled with
10,000,000,000,000,000,000 white balls, and 5 black balls, if a white
ball comes out the universe simply will not be created and nothing
will happen, if a black ball comes out the universe will be
materialized and everything we know will come to be, obviously the
black ball came out, seems to have been rigged right?
I was surprised when I came to Vermillion, such a calming music welcoming me in a cold night.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1oWrj5uq-Ek
>>33285476
But then wouldn't those chances be the same for having a higher power in the first place? And I realize not all religions believe moral retribution or an afterlife, but I have difficulty believing an all loving god would allow anyone to be eternally damned especially for something as minor to me as not believing. I don't rule out the possibility, but these are things that I was never able to reconcile when I believed near wholeheartedly.
>>33285943
Higher power in the first place? I'm not sure what you mean, but if there is a God he's self existent, I doesn't make sense to us, but we are very small things, we don't need to understand. Im not saying have blind faith , but if you want to believe in a higher power you'll have to accept you can't understand some things, like what you brought up about him damning for not accepting him, it may be minor to you, but obviously it's not minor to him, you'll have to accept it, but hes merciful, that's literally what the new testament is about, mercy. So one little doubt wont separate you from him, in fact you could go 50 years doubting cursing him then one day you accept him, that'd be totally fine, it's all up to you, free will yo, we were made to question.
I don't think hell is a fiery pit, maybe it is a place, but i think its simply separation from God completely, just like the other anons were saying , maybe like complete unconsciousness, like before you were born, nothingness.
I dont expect you to believe in a God just after reading what I'm saying, I just want you to keep exploring, and don't not believe something just because you can't understand it.
Bumpedy bump.
>>33251367

I think I'd be interested in writing some comfy SOL fanfiction. Any ideas of what to write about?

>hatching an egg
>building a secret base
>witnessing a neat event like the Clefairy dance or when that Croagunk looks at you in Pastoria
Why is Feraligatr so moe?
>>33289277
Aight, what about:
A trainer organizes a comfy movie night at home with his pokemon. There's some bickering between the bunch over what movie they should watch, and the pokemon make a mess in the kitchen while making popcorn.
I always like to write down a basic plot synopsis of a short fanfic whenever I write one.
>>33290184
Pokemon can't talk nibba, how are they arguing
>>33290630
The only way they can senpai. With body language. Having to describe how a pokemon who can't speak would convey a message is also a neat writing exercise. Plus it's much more cute to see a bunch of pokemon playing charades with a human instead of saying "I don't want to watch this."
I'm going to shleep. Have a bump.

I fucking love Poison Types.
They are top comf for me.
>>33294204
I dunno, the concept of getting stung or bitten and then slowly dying in agony doesn't exactly scream comfy to me. But that's just me probably. Yeah, it's just me.
>>33295540
But milking for antivemon and figuring out ways to apply it is. I'd figure poison types would take awhile to warm up to a trainer, so finally gaining that trust would be nice.
>>33295690
Yeah, now when you put it this way I figure it could be quite comfy. I think I might start warming up to poison types.
>>33252165
The Embedded Tower is the ruins of a tower that existed long ago, created by people who travelled from Hoenn.
Gosh I fr*cking love Pokemon lore, such a shame that we're not getting enough of it in recent games.
>>33286412
This. The human ego is what brought us to question so much in the first place. Some things will always be unanswered until we are gone from this earth, we are but mere mortals, as much as we don't want to believe it.
Does anyone have that pic of Popplio, Dartrix and Incineroar at a cafe? It was posted in one of the earlier comfy threads but I couldn't find it on archives.
>>33297100
I don't have that one, but I have another photo of starters at a cafe. Is this an adequate replacement?
Bump with this sweet french painter doggo.
Man, the state of current affairs is getting me down. Seems like anytime people discuss politics, it's nasty and vitriolic. More about being right, than figuring what the best solution is to our issues. Nobody's gonna be open to discussion or figuring out what those solutions are if the second they question stuff their ideology purity and goodness as a person is on the line. It's naive, but I truly believe everyone does what they think is best with the information they have. Empathy for our fellow man, especially now, is vital and seeing it thrown to the wayside for short term satisfaction is disheartening.
>>33298468
I guess, thank you.

I'm just so sad that, this is somethinng I won't experience, I won't be that 11 year old kid traveling to catch some kind of wonderful creature that will be by my side. Meeting people along the way, gaining friends and challenging myself.
Fuck guys, I don't know.
>>33301002
Travel more, even if you just take a car and drive around for a day. Check out nature, go to a city, explore a historical monument, go into your backyard and just explore what's around it, etc.
I've been doing that more lately and I've been feeling better and less depressed.

My only hope is that soon I'll be able to save up to a motorbike I always wanted to have and just go away for a week or two on my own. Regardless, how's your life treating you recently fellas?
