There are certain jump points in EV application that'll allow you to get 2 extra stat points instead the usual 1. They do only happen in + stat natures, correct. The highest jump point for any stat is 216, I believe!

At level 50 (the default for cart battles), not every 4 EV's creates a stat point. For 252/252/4 spreads this doesn't matter - they're all max values. But if you're investing in four stats, each investment should be 4+8n

What I mean by that is after 4, every 8 EVs adds a stat point. Unless you're battling at level 100, you should aim to never have EVs that don't fit this formula - it's a waste.

For example:
Mew A has 4 EVs in HP = stat of 176
Mew B has 8 EVs in HP = stat of 176

Mew B wastes those 4 extra EVs - they make no difference at level 50. Putting them into any other uninvested stat will give you a stat point.

At level 100 every 4 EVs count, so there's no issue there. The 2 point jumps occur when the nature multiplier (1.1x) causes a stat to tick over according to the formula. Remember everything in Pokemon rounds down.

No Axew, but what luck have you all had soft re-setting your gamestop Sallazles? I passed my first timid and naive rolls, but my second naive roll was hidden power fighting. Aside from heatran and rock checks it seems very limited, but I took it anyways. I was shooting for hp grass or ice, but I figure those are easier to breed for than hp fighting.
