On top of being the coolest pokemon in gen1, I think it's a little under-rated. It has access to flame wheel and wild charge. Pretty good. Its alolan form is a fat slut though.

Zoroark and Decidueye are my favourites, but I love these two as well. I still have my old Orre Espeon and Heracross from Pokemon Colosseum. Both great mons, cheers.

Design-wise, it's pretty much perfect. Beautiful and elegant, dark and intimidating, majestic and mysterious, all at once.

Battle-wise, I have a thing for bulky mons, and besides legendaries, you can't get much bulkier than an Umbreon.
