USUM (only one game this fucking time) has a conflict where the Ultra Space rip grows exponentially with a threat of completely devouring the Earth and you need Cosmog to take you inside where you have to fight several intergalacticand possibly inter-dimensionalUltra Space evils where the final boss is not a trainer, but a sentient "World eater" who's responsible for the rip in space.
Is this "world eater" a 'mon? Do you catch it? Like a legendary or a mythic? Why have this stupid plot if it's not a Pokémon.
This isn't Earthbound. This is a game where you travel and collect creatures to fight your battles for you.

I'm honestly interested in where they plan to go with ultrabeasts. They already stick out when you compare them to pretty much every other pokemon, would be interesting to see them go even crazier with their lore and designs.

>world eater
What, Chrono Trigger all of a sudden?
>sequel to SM
>ultra space begins to tear into Alola, causing weather changes and rapid species changes
>the Nihilego Lusamine fused with becomes fascinated with humans and begins innocently capturing them
>final boss is Totem Niliego-MB, which is Nihilego's 670-700 BST alt form
