I love Mato's style and I dearly miss her but Yamamoto is objectively a better artist. This man works markers and watercolor like if it was nothing, look at that reflecting silver. His compositions are a lot more dynamic and takes more risks with angles.

It's easier to blend with Copics than with other brands but still, him and Murata are the most impressive to me.

anyone read this version of the yellow arc? It wa a summary of the 4 books into one. The way it was edited really gave the series a somber ending where it almost was like a death scene for Yellow when she(He as the "best of" never revealed it) wished that she and pikachu could play together...one last time.

Back when my town had a bookstore, the only Adventures issues it got in were this and the Red one. Pretty sure it's still in a container in my room.
