Third gen was the lowest point of the series, though. It made me quit pokemon until gen 5

I didn't like RSE at the time but I've come to appreciate it. DPP/HGSS capped off the series nicely IMO.

Gen 5 felt like a romhack. All of the 3D games were weak installments. Gen 7 is boring.

The anime was never ever good.

Bruh, no way. Gen 4 perfected the battle system. And the DP anime was alright.

I agree. Gen 4 was so bad that I quit up until a year ago. It just caused immense fatigue because of how utterly bad it was.

I disagree but, I can see why you'd think that and thats a good opinion

It stopped being watchable after gen 1 anyway.
That being said sometimes its nice to see Team Rocket and what your favorites look like when they're animated.
