Or say your set is bad when they are losing to it. Like, yesterday I was wreching a guy in UU with specs Kyurem. He didn't think I'd be running HP Fire (because what 4th move would I otherwise run on specs kyurem?) and started bitching at me that the only good set on Kyurem is Sub+Roost. I later wrecked his other pokemon with Draco Meteor and cleaned up with Mega Absol.

Same thing happens when I use something even slightly off the norm but still very usable, like Greninja with Low Kick, or Specs Heatran in OU, or Specs Hydreigon (people always tend to get butthurt when I slap specs on wallbreakers for some reason) or putting Rain Dance on my Latias on a FUCKING RAIN TEAM (how the fuck is that not a viable Rain Dance user? Do you really think I'd only have one Rain Setter and after you killed it you'd be off scott free?) And then they proceed to tell you every single one of these are horrible useless sets and you're scum for using them. What the hell? These aren't even all that unorthodox? It's not like I'm using physical Latios or trying to make Flareon into a special wall or something similarly retarded.

I pretty much only play showdown every once in a while when I'm bored and I only play Unrated Random Battle. A mode that is completely meaningless. But there are whiners, sore losers, and people who get mad as fuck in Unrated Random Battle and I just don't understand it.

It literally is the most meaningless mode with nothing on the line, what the fuck.

Probably someone like me, back when I played a lot like 2 generations ago. My teams always had a gimmick, which I think on my best team was Fake Out/Last Resort Ambipom, always had the most either OP or janky setup sweeper avalible in OU, and then had NOTHING but support for the rest of the Pokemon. 2 bulky Prankster users (one of which is always Thundurus), a Choice Scarf Ditto, and either one wall or a wall-breaker that doesn't need setup.
I just start with the support, usually line up paralysis with confusion, then swap in and setup and shit. Once that dies, bring out more support, rinse and repeat. It isn't especially cheesy, but I can imagine it's exactly the kind of team that the average OU player DOESN'T want to face.

Like a year ago I played one match in showdown, I'm bad at competitive Pokemon so of course I lost. This idiot started celebrating like he won a lottery or something. Well, loss is a loss and I carried on with another player. The first idiot started following me in every match I started still celebrating his victory and spamming chat about his victory

To be fair, if an unregistered account disconnects and then reconnects, Showdown won't let them use the same name and re-enter the room and they'll get the message "That name is taken" instead. This happened to me when I used an unregistered name, the server put the name in some limbo where I've left the room and the battle but technically haven't at the same time. The only time you can use that name again is when the room you were in has expired.

I know that because I myself use random keyboard-smash names mamy times, and I know the feel of losing because SD wouldn't let you reconnect fast enough because you are technically already in battle.

Most of the time I can tell when the case is the guy having a shitty internet and struggling to log in again, so I don't turn the timer on. Is people with registered, non-random names that just leave without forfeiting the ones that piss me off. Some of these fuckers are such scum that they actually come back to battle just before their time to reconnect runs out, to see if you left early and they "won".

As a stallfag who uses Gliscor and Skarmory all the time, is being a stallfag still good or even better? I haven't played any of Gen7 OU, last time I played on smogon was ORAS, Am I missing anything? I liked XY OU, it was pretty good imo. I remember getting in 1300's In XY OU, but I got bored and stoped playing till oras came out.

Yeah those are the kinds of people I'm talking about. They take 30-60 seconds every fucking move. Like I can understand taking a bit of time at the beginning, to size up the opponent's team and think of how you're going to do this. I can understand once in a while. But every fucking move?
