"Gen 2 has the best postgame!"
>>33229653
>gen 2's level curve
looking at the base games:
6<5<2<7<3<1<4
2 had a laughable level-curve where the best training spot had lv 40 and you were somehow supposed to beat red with pokemon way over lv 70. the johto part was too short and the kanto part was really shallow, as if you sucked the life out of a pokemon region.

>4 being at the top
>7 being that high
nah
>HGSS is good
>>33229771
4 definitely had one of the best regions and base games. They were difficult too and the post game was solid. 7 was neither bad nor good which is why I put it in the middle. I just liked alola a lot.

how creative.

D/P were trash and Platinum barely makes up for it.
>>33229899
they had the best champion too. the difficulty was actually perfect, thinking about it.
>>33229923
Only the champion was hard though.
>Gen 3 was good
>Gen 3 was my first gen!
>>33229830
It definitely didn't have one of the best base games and the region itself introduces gameplay-inhibiting areas that offer nothing interesting. In addition DP are shit on most of the time for being the worst base games and it really shows with how slow they are, how utterly shit their Dexes are, and how retarded the plot is (though that's not saying much, most Pokemon plots are shit).
Alola is just shit all around even when ignoring the forced story and pointless dialogue.

If you consider kanto as postgame, yes, it has. If you don't, then it's fair to say that gen 2 has the best main game.
>>33230029
Kanto literally is postgame, that's the point.
>>33230029
Kanto isn't good postgame. Johto was mediocre, and Kanto was dead an lifeless.
HGSS fixed this by giving Kanto actual content, but Johto was still horribly mediocre.
>>33230088
>Johto was horribly mediocre
How?
>>33230185
just accept what he's saying
>>33230185
too short.

>just accept what he's saying
imagine being this retarded
