I've always said that Alolan Diglett line is retarded and lazy.

They are both joke Pokemon (along with Persian) but Alolan Dugtrio line was intentional while Lycanroc isn't.

Alolan Dugtrio got a lot of hate of here when it was first revealed, tourist. No one talks about it now because it is forgettable as a design and shitty in battle so there is no reason to ever bring it up

You can try and bring up other lazy designs but the ones you bring up aren't important, the A-diglet line wasn't being foreshadowed to be something important. It was made to be meme, but Lycanroc dusk form on the other hand was being hyped up. And just like the litten's potential evolutions, it was ruined by it's design.
