For one, it's actually a great pokemon competitively. But it also took the design and improved upon it immensely, it looks amazing now.

I WANTED to like A-Meowth, but it evolves into one of the most god awful pokemon ever created. Persian's main flaw before was just being too bland, so adding a Dark type would've been a nice twist, but instead it went full lasagna mode. What a god damn disappointment. Absolutely terrible.
