Slowpoke + Rowlet is a reliable combo. I only say Rowlet first because most likely Charizard won't come through for you, unless you really love LP restores and training sodas.

With Slowpoke, you will possibly be disappointed twice when restoring Charizard. Get both Slowpoke and Rowlet, but in the short run Rowlet will help you buy better food and training.

I highly recommend you to reset your game, charizard is a waste of diamonds and fortunately you're still early in the game so it won't take much time. Charizard's drop bonus in pic related

Rowlet is probably the right choice, it will cost you all of your support candies but once it's full it will give you enough coins to get a couple of upgrades, so in the end it's really fucking useful

Op said he's in early game so getting Rowlet early isn't worth without trainer rank. Popplio combined with the free sunken treasures will help him gradually gain some much needed diamonds.

I went charizard, popplio, then slowpoke and im doing pretty damn fine. Way I see it if im gonna 100% popplio is a must. Getting rowlet first might have helped things go faster but charizard helped get the item achievement and slowpoke event. His coins are decent too

Yeah, I'm aware. I get those amounts of coins with Rowlet and my 150% carp. I'd much rather get a skill restore and hit Rowlet 4 times, and Slowpoke 2 times than get either of those coin bonuses. Like I said, opinion.

Reminder the English translation of this game is absolute trash.
