The best part about Nature Power is when it's powered up by the Normal Z-Crystal, it also changes the type of Z-move(becomes Bloom Doom under Grassy Terrain, Twinkle Tackle in Misty Terrain, etc). Nice to see that terrains were buffed enough to be almost as flexible as weather.

They were just poorly implemented. It's a nice mechanic. Things like Altaria, Beedrill, Mom, Medicham, Lopunny, Mawile, etc. needed them.

Metagross, Mewtwo, Air Lizard, the airplanes, Superduper Air Snake, etc. did not. Some, like Houndoom, Ampharos, Gallade, Audino, or Steelix were given meh abilities (the make or break for a Mega).

Running it mid speed lets it destroy trick room. I found success running it on bulky offense with taunt fini. It's still a good balance breaker but it struggles vs offensive teams due its subpar speed, making it rather easy to revenge kill.

Pelipper gets U-turn allowing it to give free switches into rain abusers, Politoed can't. Pelipper gets Defog which otherwise incredibly hard to fit onto rain teams, Politoed can't do this. Pelipper gets Roost so it can stick around longer in a match to keep providing rain, Politoed's best form of recovery is Rest. Pelipper also has a fairly good Specs set with access to moves like Knock Off which cripples Chansey and Assault Vest Magearna as well as a 100% accurate Hurricane which beats bulky grass types. Pelipper 100% outclasses Politoed hence why Politoed is PU.

OU is literally the worst it has ever been since, I'm assuming, gen 2. there are like a dozen threats you have to prepare for in teambuilding, 7 different variants of brainless aurora veil offense, 3 variants of stall, unbreakable CelePex cores, MAGEARNA....it's absolute trash and anyone who plays it seriously is honestly a masochist

UU is basically like old OU from last gen, which is nice. NU and RU are my favorites because they're sort of in a goldilocks zone where there's a decent amount of "good" pokemon but you don't play expecting to lose at team preview like you do with gen7OU
