Stop acting like "region is inspired by X real work country" really means much outside of aesthetic background choices and a few pokemon. They don't have to include more hawaiian clothes just because hawaii is implied.

Besides, gamefreak avoids controversy like the plague. They'd never add coconut bras, as fun as that'd be.
