I'm making the Switch games the deciding point on whether to quit or not since Pokemon is literally the only game i want on the Switch.
If they're good, I'll buy a switch and the games. If not then i won't bother buying a switch and quit playing the games.

I play it because I legitimately still enjoy playing the series. It has little to do with childhood, though that's a part of it.

Call it low standards, bad tastes, or even autism. But I don't see myself quitting the series anytime soon.

Pokemon is "Pirate Tier" at this point. Something I'll get for free, play and enjoy, but not something I'll spend money on.

You know I've actually decided that if ultra s&m are'nt at least somewhat better than s&m, I'm done with Pokemon. I'll still play every gen before 7th, well maybe 6&7th, but I won't buy anything new anymore. I don't even enjoy competitive anymore.
