Make a completely new head piece that represents sunset instead of just fusing the moon shaped headpiece and the sun shaped headpiece. Change its face/expression so it looks slightly more mischievous like Midnight instead of literally the same as Midday. Change its leg design to match Midnight more instead of being literally the same, or have it crouching so it looks like it's slowly turning bipedal.

There are plenty of things they could've done if they weren't creatively bankrupt.

They aren't "randomly slapped on." The parts on Kyurem are mirrored between the two forms and they make logical sense. On Solgaleo and Lunala you have bullshit like Necrozma's arms being on Solgaleo's back for some reason.

Let's face it, there's a lot of people working on USM that would think of these things. The fact that they added none of them shows a much bigger problem.
They don't think what we got is the only way they could have done it. I'm sure they had multiple designs in mind. They think what we got is exactly how much effort we deserved.
