Now that we know that dawn/dusk/twilight-Lycanroc will be a thing, how will it perform in battle/competitively?
Will it be different enough compared to his PU siblings, will we see it in OU? If yes, how can it achieve that?
As a potential hybrid form, will it borrow the best stats of the other Lycanrocs? Maybe change typing? A speedy physically offensive and defensive Rock/Psychic type with access to Accelrock, Psychic Fangs and NoGuard as ability
- would that make it viable?
What's your idea?

We have one extremely fuzzy image that is potentially stylized. Brainstorming for this is basically about as effective as it was before we got this information.

my guess is that it's gonna be a serperior 2,0 a fast bulky but meh offensive mon
Even with
85
115
75
55
75
112
That's really not all that good.
Throw in fighting, a useable movepool and no guard though...

But brainstorming is fun... it doesn't have to be "effective".

OP, Rock/Psychic will make this thing even more PU than pure Rock. So many weaknesses. So many.
Most likely this thing will be bottom barrel PU garbage; slightly better than Lycanroc Midnight (probably better speed) but shittier than Lycanroc Midday.

yeah I didn't really think that through... Though I'd argue that a "bad" typing and many weaknesses don't automatically deem it useless, no? It just needs a niche or unique role to fill. A good ability.
Maybe it gets a new priority Z-Move based on Accelrock that also lays out stealth rocks (similar to how Mew's Z move generates psychic terrain). This plus being a fast rock type with perfect accuracy stone edges (plus a broader movepool)...

A terrible typing is counterbalanced by great stats, abilities, and synergy with the rest of your team. I doubt this form will get anything extraordinary to warrant OU usage.
Furthermore, I don't think this Pokemon will be dual-typed. It is a hybrid of the other two forms, which are pure Rock.

>I don't think this Pokemon will be dual-typed
like I said, it was just an idea I didn't put much thought behind. Though I wouldn't rule out anything.
>A terrible typing is counterbalanced by great stats, abilities, and synergy with the rest of your team.
That's what I said, too. And I wonder what new Lycanroc's niche might be (if there is any)
