W-whoa... Literally looks like an Avatar creature...
>>33207401
I like realistic pokemon
>>33207401
>realistic pokemon
>lol just slap and edgy texture on it
The one >>33207877 posted is better because it actually changes Kyogre into something that could exist
>>33207911
Why does nature slap edgy textures onto everything?
>>33207401
A lot of """""realistic""""" Pokemon art tries to make Pokemon look like the bugs whose collection the franchise is loosely based on. That is a terrible design decision for pretty much any Pokemon that isn't already a bug.
>>33207937
Way to miss the point, moron.
>>33207401
Not a fan of the spiky legs, there isn't enough contrast between the red & purple & it of course needs to be thiccer, but otherwise I don't mind this one too much. Has a decent emphasis on the centaur vibe
>>33207911
Horse-sized arthropod like Scolipede can't exist on current Earth in any shape or form, moron. And if we talk about hypothetical planet where such creature could exist, then it may be completely alien and not bound by Earth's biology.
>>33208218
>Horse-sized arthropod like Scolipede can't exist on current Earth in any shape or form
that's my fucking point, MAKE it able to exist or don't call it "realistic pokemon"
>>33208269
Arvalis, you need to gtfo out
>>33208218
Did you forget a couple million years ago?
Where we had horse sized millipedes?
>not bound by Earth biology
Too bad they existed already in Earth's biology. (And there was that one study that showed the bugs we have now likely are either the same or nearly the same as the giants.... just that there's not enough oxygen to support them now.)
>>33208286
So a realistic scoliped would be a dead fossil
>>33208269
So by your opinion pokemon that can exist are... none, because they are all paranormal fucking creatures.
>>33208286
>Horse-sized arthropod like Scolipede can't exist on current Earth
>CURRENT Earth
And
>a couple million years ago?
more like
>a couple hundreds million years ago
>>33207401
FUG
>>33207401
These are cute birds
>inb4 Arvalis shitposting
>>33208976
Too late.
>>33208277
It's already happened, Arvalis was mentioned, all bets are off and its time to fling shit and argue about nothing.
Here let me help this shitshow along.
>>33209022
>flying crabs
...Woah...So...Realistic...........I'm...Getting...Euphoric...........from...all..this.......Realism............................Wow...............................................Arvalis.....is.....God...
>>33207401
Why do these artist always interpret everything as bugs?
>>33209810
What else would a centipede be other than a bug-type?
>>33208565
Staraptor by the same artist
>>33209810
How else would YOU interpret a pokemon clearly based off a centipede?
It's like complaining about a realistic scyther or heracross because the artist based them off a mantis and a beetle.
>>33210028
Scyther is a dinosaur
>>33208269
I don't think you're talking about "able to exist" so much as "resembles an animal that already exists". The Realistic Kyogre earlier in the the thread is a good example. There's no real reason a creature with something resembling its original proportions couldn't exist, but they opted to make it look more like an Earth whale.
>>33207401
>realistic pokemon
>draw it like an eldritch abomination
>""""realistic""""
>>33209022
>magnets are already a realistic object
>draw them as crabs and not magnets
How can one fuck up this badly?
>>33210320
because magnets aren't animals? He's clearly trying to interpret every pokemon as some kind of real life animal.
Requesting that one drawing of a "realistic" Kyogre as a squid swimming backwards, whose in-game functioning mouth and eyes are "realistically" just markings on its butt.
>>33210358
Just make them robots with led screen eyes?
>>33210413
>>33207401
I've always thought Scolipede looked like a cartoonized Chaurus.
>>33210413
>>33210491
this triggered me
>>33210044
(You) is a retard.
>>33207911
(You)'re not that smart are (You)?
>>33210652
Really? It seems like an interesting idea.
>>33210289
Pokemon are also called "pocket Monster" so of course monsters would look weird.
