Decided to update my own template that allows a number of favourites for each type group proportional to the number of total pokemon of that type as their primary.

So roughly my favourite 10% of each type.

(10% was the lowest I could go with the most scarce type, Flying, just barely still rounding up to 1)

If you don't go by primary type, the calculations for the ratio are bound to be off as dual types would skew it in the same way as the regular "favourites by type"-meme is biased towards dual-types.

Flying by primary currently includes: Noibat/Noivern, Tornadus, Fl-Arceus, Fl-Silvally.
So it's slowly shaping up to be less silly considering there was just Tornadus and Arceus 2 generations ago.
