It really doesn't. Take a look at those stats. If you slap a Focus Sash on it, it's pretty damn good.

its gimmick it's useless with those stats, the best way to use this pokemon is with a scarf or specs because it's so hard to find a moment to set up your nasty plot, even resisted attacks can kill it,
