The FWG core isn't too bad, even in competitive play they are commonly seen. It just works well.

Depending on the game, i might change up my own rules.

Here's what i did for SM
>No using legendaries
>EXP share off
>Allowed to use EXP Share if i box my other mons so i have 2 left
>No TMs
>Use favorites
>Don't go out of my way to try to type balance the team
>Have their levels in the same range e.g. 15-20, 40-45
>Only use Pokeballs to catch everything
>No using Refresh

I used Refresh at the beginning not knowing how broken it was, when i realised i boxed the refreshed mons, went back and caught those mons again.

I like to legit IV breed and train til 50 a lot of Pokémon even if I'm never gonna use them. I have almost 130 perfect Pokémon (including hyper trained legendaries) and actually used maybe 20 of them at most.
