i truly thought we were going to see the greatest pokemon game maybe ever. so much stuff they could do with the plot, so much comfy art, so many good pokemon designs imo. but they just did literally nothing with it. or rather, i wish they had done literally nothing with it, but instead they just put in the most bland story and characters.
