if I based my opinion on what 4chan says I would've mentioned the cutscenes, but I didn't because I like the cutscenes. this is my own opinion. if you compare the region design and postgame to the other games SM are extremely lacking. "most people liked them" is not an argument because most people beat the Elite Four and drop it, whereas I put hundreds of hours into every game and thus can form a more nuanced opinion

The UB quest was the postgame. Along with the few routes and battle facility it's the largest out of all first versions not counting GS. And before you say BW's was bigger it lacked a real postgame quest. Yeah it had more routes but most of them were empty and more people have shown that they prefer quests like the Looker missions and delta episode compared to a few empty routes you have no motivation to explore other than "might as well since there's literally nothing else to do."
