Has anyone here had any experience with them? I've been trying to identify a Pearl Version I bought a year ago on eBay and still can't seem to find a definitive answer. Most people I've asked said its legit since it can trade and transfer from/to gen 3 and 5. Pic related, with 100% legit Diamond and Platinum.
Show a picture of the back of them. One of the best ways to identify counterfeits is by seeing if the leters are fully visible in those green squares.

here they are. The serial code is scratched off on Pearl which was also pretty sketchy.
The fact that your cart can communicate with other games is proof enough that it's legitimate. From what I've seen bootlegs of the DS and 3DS games are not at all common, it's really only an issue with the GB/GBC/GBA ones.

Your cartridge (in the picture) looks exactly like my original Pearl game.
I think the only way to know is open the cartridge (most fake cartridges have an sd card inside them).

I think they are legit, the white leters seem properly placed and the space between the serial number and the logo seems right.

The diamond looks kind of sketchy. I'm not sure about the Pearl or Platinum ones though
