>tfw being 7 at the height of the Pokemania craze
Being born in the exact right year feels good.

>not being 10 at the height of the Pokémania craze
Sucks you had to sit idly by and watch us all start our adventure
When your born the same year 1996 Pokemon was made and can celebrate the anniversarys in same year as birthdays

>having to sit by idly while that guy of the same age had all these adventures
At least being younger helped cope with it.
11 here in peak Poke-mania. It was great. So new, so fresh. I remember getting the special Pikachu edition yellow game boy + Pokemon Yellow for Christmas 1999. My fondest memories are of playing yellow late at night, using the moonlight in my window to see the game.

Was 8 when the first game came out but 10 when pokemania really hit, since 10 is the age of the protagonist I gotta say that's the perfect age.

>there are users on this board who were in diapers during peak Pokémania

Admiting your a grandpa. 1996 is 21 years old
>>33188344
>7
That's quite the implication
The best year to be born for the pokecraze was 1988 as you would've been 10 by that time
Fall 1987 - Spring 1989 is your sweet spot in this reguard and don't try to pretend otherwise.

>11 here in peak Poke-mania
Starting to get a bit old to appreciate pokemon there.

are you gate-keeping? 11 is perfect for pokemon. not too young, not too old yet. hell I remember practically every kid in my 5th and 6th grade class was crazy about it. we'd trade cards during recess and lunch.

>not too old yet
Kinda was getting a bit old. 11 was the time for Yugioh let's be real here.
