The only type that didn't have a trial captain associated with it was Ice.

This was on purpose. The kahuna of Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon is an Ice type specialist.

I won't put my wishlist but here's what I predict

An Ultra Beast boss for each island.
New Alola forms, including Johto starters.
An updated Rotom Dex with Pokétch/PokéNav-like features.
New megas, though I'm 50/50 on this one.
A new form of secret bases, hinted at in the Sun and Moon real-life trailers.
The new Z-Ring from the trailer gives your mons a stat increase, essentially turning them into a Totem Pokémon.
Apricorn Balls can now be bought.
More Battle Styles with exaggerated animations/sparkles and such.
A new small island.
