>>33180813
Where is ttar?
>>33180813
OH NO YOU FUCKING DIDN'T
>>33180820
>>33180821
Tyranitar is cool, but not cool enough to square up with Kabutops, Tyrantrum and Regirock.
It would be 4th if the list was longer than top three.
>>33180832
my opinion > your opinion
>>33180846
yes
>>33180813
I agree
>>33180813
Where is night doggo?
>>33180864
Get that shitty furbait Sonic OC out of my face. It belongs in the bottom 3, not top.
>>33180864
A Pokémon that uses Stone Edge with its rocky mane is no good.
>>33180864
How is it a rock type exactly?
Hello, /vp/!
We may not be the strongest or most useful Rock-types around, but we are all cool in our very own way! Consider using us sometime!
>>33180979
I actually used Solrock and Lunatone in an Emerald run one time. It wasn't the worst but it definitely left a lot to be desired. They fared a lot better when I used them in SM.
>>33180991
The +20 HP buff and access to better moves certainly did help.
swich Tyrantrum for Armaldo and we have a deal
>>33180979
Sudowoodo is based
>>33181362
no love for cradily?
>>33180813
its cradily, regirock, and crustle
>>33180813
where's aggron?
these are my favorite rock types
aggron honorable mention
>>33181650
>3 dinosaurs
>>33180871
>buzzwords
>>33180813
*get's OHKO by a bulbasaur with giga drain*
>>33180813
>not Aeodactyl, Tyranitar, and Terrakion
>no aggron
absolute trash taste
>>33181629
>>33181722
Only barafags like Aggron. kys
>>33181760
suck my metallic dick fuckboy. aggron is the patrician's taste in pokebro
>>33181769
>Diglett used Mud Slap!
>>33181789
>he determines his bro by its weaknesses
>>33180813
Huh. None of these made it on to my rock team.
>>33181484
The star center of my rock monotype triple battle team, flanked by Shuckle and TTar 90% of the time.
In X/Y, 50% of the fights started:
>Enemy used scald!
>Cradily's Storm Drain absorbed the attack!
>Cradily's special attack rose!
>other enemies have actions, but nothing can OHKO Shuckle and they never expect a bulky T-Tar to survive that 4x super effective non-stab focus blast!
>Tyranitar used dragon dance!
>Cradily used Giga Drain on something with a grass weakness or neutral!
>Shuckle used encore on the idiot who scalded last turn!
And then TTar kills 1 thing, they either swap the encored scalder or feed the Cradily, doesn't matter because a triple battle is all about the opening lineup, Shuckle either lays down web or rocks, or infests if he thinks there will be no swap, doesn't matter, they are now trying to focus down a defensive Cradily with a team that just can't.
Oh, the other members were Aerodactyl (mega), Rhyperior (assault vest), and Archeops (Chesto berry for every damn time I faced fucking Dark Void.)
Tyranitar, Tyrantrum & Onix are the best three.
>>33180871
this.
Gen 7 is cuck trash.
>>33180979
I prefer Golem.
>>33181722
>>33181629
Aggron belongs in top 3 Steel, not Rock.
>>33180813
>not Aggron, Tyranitar, Nihilego
Overall, top 10
1. Nihilego
2. Aggron
3. Tyranitar
4. Minior
5. Tyrantrum
6. Diancie
7. Lycanroc
8. Barbaracle
9. Aerodactyl
10. Gigalith
>>33183299
You speak the truth.
Where the fuck is Aerodactyl?
>>33180813
>No tyranitar
>>33183299
Aggron is a PU shitmon
>No Aerodactyl
>>33180979
Solrock and Lunatone are pretty solid for what they are.
They get amazing coverage.
>>33183416
Indeed, but it is an incredibly fun to use PU shitmon
>>33183299
You appear to have made a horrendous mistake
You included the Pokemon with the most terrible visual design on your list
>>33181484
I love him
>>33180864
This. Tyranitar, and Regirock.
>>33180813
But all rock types are great. Let's discuss what a great type rock is.Except Diancie. Diancie sucks.
>>33183584
Diancie would be fine if it was a psuedo-legendary evolution of Carbink instead of an event legendary
>>33180979
I tried using Sudowoodo in crystal and it begain to trail behind in kanto
Is Regirock /ourguy/?
>>33180979
>Sudowoodo and Lunatone were utter bros in first playthroughs of their respective gen's games
>They never ever got good
The introduced me to the bittersweet world of Rock mons, at least
>>33180979
Rampardos is great for ramming things to death with sheer force rock slide but he's SLOW
>>33181722
>ditches Rock type for Mega
Piece of shit TRAITORI still love its design and wish it was more useful
>>33183584
Now this is a thread I can get behind
oop, meant to say,
NOW THIS IS A THREAD I CAN GET BEHIND
>>33183635
That is not the suffering of rock mons
This is the true suffering of rock mons, the one time it was combined with the type that suffers the most
A slow, frail special attacker with the absolute worst possible defensive type combination that doesn't even have access to power gem despite having gems on it's body
>>33183646
>tfw Tyrantrum utilises Rampardos' gimmick a thousand times better
taint fair
Luckily Tyrantrum is a top tier Rock mon on its own merits so nothing lost, nothing gained?
>>33183677
>>33183663
Uncanny
Carbink is my favorite rock type, and if you disagree, that's okay too!
>>33180813
But all rock type pokemon are bad
>>33183488
Lucario and Zebstrika aren't on the list though
>>33180979
Solrock is a bro in Nuzlockes. Fire Spin, Rock Slide, Psychic and Cosmic Power to set up.
Mirior is a badass design, love the ability and shiny
>>33180813
Best in terms of what? Design? Viability?
This thread is lacking the #1 best pokemon though, shuckle.
>>33180864
welcome back wolf pack
boy bye
>>33180864
Day doggo is better desu
