It's not really even about Pokken, I don't really care one way or another at the moment. What we need is a Grass-type, and they can either bring back Ivysaur, or add in Sceptile/Decidueye, the latter more than likely.

I also don't think blaziken should be in. There's already a fire type. (Before u say smash don't care about typing, the current roster don't have repeated typing) And the fighting style of blaziken already similar to lucario

I love Blaziken, but Lucario has always been more realistic as it ticks off more boxes.

It'll never happen. The only starters who've ever gotten into Smash are Greninja, cause he was relevant, and the original trio, because nostalgia sells. Not to mention two of the three Kanto starters got cut after being in one smash game.

There's not going to be any new characters in the Switch port, and the only new mon in Smash 5 will be whatever the shillmon gen 8 will be. Probably the grass starter. Oh also Greninja won't live to see Smash 5, but that was a given.
