No, it's because fakemon artists have a bad habit of using bad colors choices and stupid exaggerated curvy proportions

Look at the cow in the OP for instance, they gave it a bright saturated purple color, a random curved thing on its neck, its arms start thin and then curve into an oval shape for whatever reason, and it just has random ovals slapped on its belly. The entire thing looks like a fake toy. Compare to miltank where it actually looks somewhat convincing as a creature with usable proportions, a pink color that isn't saturated and bright as fuck, and actual udders instead of random shapes
