Why do we need so many remakes though? FRLG and HGSS were "necessary" because gen 2 can't link to gen 3. ORAS shouldn't exist, regardless of its quality.

Just BW1 will get remade and the DNA splicers and Neo-Ghetsis will be in a short postgame mission like Delta Episode, but worse.

It's not "rehashed garbage," it's an update to the old games with new features, updated dex, modernized types, and potentially new story aspects and lore building. Plus, it gives the games and region another chance to shine. I currently hate Sinnoh, but I'm hoping the eventual remakes do it better by fixing some of its glaring problems (speed, dex, HM's, shrill music, etc.)

I would be sad that it wasn't more, but I would end up being satisfied. Would probably be objectively better than BW1, which are my favorite games in the series. Still would probs be a lil sad that it wasn't BW3 or something though.
