Since it's an episode focusing on Mallow, her father, and Aina Cafe, maybe it's time for Mama Mao to make an appearance. That alone makes the episode exciting. Maybe her brother?

Ash and Lana are going to use balloon to explore the ocean, or it's going to be very similar to the Skrelp episode. Hopefully there are no shipwrecks this time in real life that causes the episode to be delayed.

With Mallows episode taking place on Melemele Island, it seems the class isn't going straight to Aether Paradise and is skipping the Battle Royal. I'm surprised they aren't going to visit the hotels to, it'd make for a fun filler with golf.

Maybe at somepoint they go back to Akala then to Aether. No Gladion and Type: Null yet is also surprising given how we got their anime artwork a while back.

So just like the series, the battle royal is also a joke too, and Akala isn't over Until ash makes direct contact with a psychic oricorio. Because you know, it represents the Akala island. You do realize what shipping is, right? Supporting the idea of two characters being in a relationship or ending up together, irrespective of whether it has any foundation in the canon. What sets Amour apart from every Ash ship is that it has that canonical foundation, while none of the others do.

So when you say the writers haven't developed the ship, that's because it's not the writers' job. It's the fans who decide they support it and they fill in the gaps by identifying "hints," most of which are totally derived from wishful thinking. If the writers decide that two characters are destined to be together or whatever, that still doesn't stop shippers from reading too much into scenes that the writers didn't intend to be relevant to the budding romance.

Of course in Lillie's case, there is no budding romance of any kind, so it's a moot point.
