The most annoying thing about gen 6's designs is that it continued gen 5's strategy of having pokemon that look like they should be evolutionary relatives of other pokemon, but aren't because fuck you that's why

Actually, the only ones I didn't like are Braixen and Delphox. In fact, the only gen 6 stuff I didn't like at all were those two, Mega Latias/Latios being the exact same thing (they should've had even some minor differences) and Mega Lopunny.

I don't even hate waifus, I just feel like Braixen fucked up Fennekin and Mega Lopunny is ugly and weird to me

Chesnaught line, Florges line, Heliolisk line, Aegislash line, Aurorus line, all the legends, Carbink... really, it's a long list. The only ones I really don't like are Braixen and to a lesser extent Delphox. Gen 6 was a small batch of Pokemon, but the overall quality level was very high.

That's about it. Gen 6 designs for me are mostly meh or cancer. I really want to like Tyrantrum, Pyroar, Aegislash, and Pangoro because I like their basic design concept, but something about them just doesn't click with me.

And Megas in general were a mistake. Gardevoir and Alakazam are the only ones I like from a design standpoint. I like that Pinsir, Glalie, Aggron, and Abomasnow got some love, but their designs are too stupid, especially Aggron. Most of them just ruin already fine designs by making them fat or spiky or fat and spiky.

If it was just the wings it would be fine. It also gets a bunch of unncessary shit and lines trying to make it look evil. Megas are the definition of overdesigned. It's not a real evolution, so they don't want to change it too much. Instead they just add a bunch of random shit to a design that wasn't intended to be tweaked

I have favs and mons that I don't prefer but none that I care too much about to hate, Kalos had lots of interesting mons despite there only being like 70 new ones excluding megas.

Noivern, Greninja, Gogoat, Tyrantrum, Florges, Hawlucha, Talonflame, Sylveon, Aegislashand Zygarde are just a few I'd like to mention. (100% forme if it counts tho, hate that it is just an in-battle ability form)

I liked a good percentage of the 'dex, considering how small it was. The problem with XY wasn't the Pokemon.

My favorite is probably Trevenant, but other great lines include Pumpkaboo, Skrelp, Pancham, Inkay, Aegislash, and I'm realizing I could go on for a while so I'll stop here.

Also, the non-Greninja starters don't get the love they deserve even if I still hate Fennekin's proportions
