There was also another one, but I forgot the source.. it didn't really mention anything super different, only that Shouji's past involves a Luxray freezing to death to save him. The girl's past involves a cameo of her mother who looks like she has a similar hairstyle to Cynthia, leading to every retard out there claiming that Cynthia is Makoto's mother..It is not confirmed. Makoto supposedly has a shaky relationship with her mother.

Also some bit of info that Ash lashes out at his friends/Pikashit when he loses to Cross and tells Pikashit that he shouldve chosen Squirtle instead of it.
