I think Anime-wise anything Kanto seems really comfy. Vertania City especially. the newer episodes just were about completely unreal and weird as fuck alien looking places. especially all the Gen 5 cities. Hoenn region was the beginning of the end in that regard. it was even bland compared to Kanto. game-wise thankfully that wasn't true.

Johto was okayish in the anime.

Pacifidlog town, hands down. When I played sapphire for the first time, I didnt find it until a while after beating the E4 when I was trying to figure out how to solve the regi braille puzzles. It felt like I had stumbled upon an easter egg, at the time, and I loved how comfy and chill it was. I also love water pokemon, and it seems like it would be a great place to grow up, were it a real town.

I would like to live on the sevii islands too, probably four island.

They feel so remote and distant, so far from the hustle and bustle of the city. But also kind of lonely and forgotten, completely surrounded by sea with every place feeling less populated than the one before. This somewhat melancholic aura makes a nice contrast with the summery, subtropical nature of the islands. Like the orange islands adventure but with a dash of yokohama kaidashi kikou.

I wonder how it feels irl, living on the Izu islands. So near but so far away of the massive monster that is tokyo metropolitan area.
