Just got my shiny Popplio after 6 months of MMing and a hiatus and a Passimian from earlier. If I actually get a female, instant Primarina.

Completed hunts from the last 2 weeks. Larvitar wasn't even a real hunt. I was breeding in Gen 6 for the Weakness Cup and she hatched, first egg, with Unnerve.

I was also very happy with Litleo, as it's a boy.

I hunt with Masuda and Magikarp Swap, so of course I have the charm. I've been spoiled with how much faster it goes using karps.

Just did my 3 WC battles and although I was terribly scared the whole time, I won all 3!

Next hunt will be for Mareep. Not only is he our glorious mascot, but with the WC we finally get the Ampharos stone!

This is the second time i've gotten stuck with a shitty Gen 1 bird as a random shiny. Hate these things.

I have what may be a dumb question. I was doing a casual plathrough of platinum and found a shiny bidoof.

With this bidoof, would I be able to find that secret ID or whatever in order to find many shinies, or would it only have worked if I started out in the beginning with that intent? Either way, I love my little derp.

Question: my clock reached 999:59, and I haven't hatched any shinies in a while, nor encountered them in the wild. Does anyone know if reaching the maximum time can cause the game's mechanics to stop creating shinies? I already have dozens, so I have a "feel" for when a shiny should've appeared already.

Thanks, anon. I'm not sure I'd care to go through the bother, then. My relaxation is riding Tauros in the autism box while I read, so I'm not stressed over shinies. Maybe I'll even have some more random luck.

So I beat Leafgreen a couple days ago and when I was going through my box to transfer pokemon I noticed the lapras I got was shiny (Sassy nature too). I'm pretty happy since lapras was a pokemon I was planning on breeding for anyway and I've never gotten a shiny first time like that. I had quite the dumb fucking grin on my face all day. Just wanted to tell some people whod understand all this shit.

I found a shiny female gardevoir on pokemon sapphire, but I was playing on an emulator, I already palparked her to pokemon Pearl on desmume, my question is the following, If I move the savefile containing Gardevoir to a NDS with R4, will I be able to trade her from that NDS to a real pokemon cartridge? and if I do, will I be able to transfer it to gen V and send her to pokebank?

Last three shinies were Cubone, Fomantis and I traded a shiny Volcarona for a shiny Lugia. Was Shiny hunting for ditto when for some bumfuck reason I soft reset the second the shiny appeared. I was in complete shock and still don't know why I reacted that way.
