On a scale of 1 to 10 how would you rate Contrary as an ability
>>33137173
More like FU, since it's outclassed by Servine as a Contrary user and has to compete with a lot of slots as a Defogger(Hazard Removal)
>>33137218
Easily a 10 ability. Problem is it's mostly given to either shitmon, mons that don't have movepools for it, or both. Serperior being the only exception.
>>33137173
OP forgot to add stats and movepool for better context on why this is a PU shitmon.
>>33137192
Is this an Ideon reference?
>give it 85-90 hp
is it ok for NU now?
>>33137250
Thats arguable because one of Serperior's main falls is its lack of special options beyond Grass and Dragon
>>33137234
>outclassed by Servine
Stop this meme. Lurantis is actually one of the most viable PU mons right now, and the top PU players are using it. It's got some viability in NU too.
>>33137453
Still can't take hits. They made a Slow attacker without the bulk, it's like if Rhyperior had 70 HP and 90 Defense, it would be terrible.
Not to mention 105 attack isn't high enough to get consistent kills. It should be a grass type Weavile of sorts, not a fucking useless shitmon.
>>33137388
I often wonder why, when they're making these things, they intentionally give them stats they know will ruin them.
>>33137879
Because it was designed for its boss fight, which was already hard unless you cheesed it with Inferno Overdrive.
>>33137234
*Serperior
>>33137173
They couldn't even give it chlorophyll to complement solar blade
>>33137888
Trips of Truth
>>33137888
"This pokemon will exist until the series dies. Should we not fuck it up just for the novelty of a single boss fight in a handheld game?"
"?????"
"Good point."
>>33137713
Some how some replays then, I glanced at the past 12 hours of saved ones and saw exactly one that did nothing but defog and then die
>>33137173
Do people find it surprising? I knew it was gonna be bad competitively the moment I looked at it's stats.
>>33137897
No, I had it right the first time. Servine. It's bulkier, faster and sports a better movepool.
>>33137888
or use alolan grimer, or the numerous flying types you run into before the trial.
>>33137945
>Onix
>>33138231
>Steelix too
>>33137173
its not even a good fucking pokemon....and pu isnt that bad
