Because it's been a decade since we got third versions. Because the last 3 set of games have been a disappointment. Because i don't believe Gamefreak can actually make a good game.

I don't see a single reason right now why i should be thinking about buying it.

Sequels are totally better than a triad. Everyone always migrates to
Emerald equivalent and people don't have to trade anymore. Why even
have two versions if there's just going to be a master race version later on?
Having a sequel of BOTH versions is subjectively a cooler option.
