It would still be difficult to accelerate due to inertia, so it would be more like Lillie is being dragged around by cosmog's bag

Heliolisk, the solar generator pokemon can't learn solar beam.

You think they want to drink pokemon spit? Do you want to drink your dog's spit?
>>33128938
But that's the modern windows design!

>>33130010
>Literally has a fist made of Ice
>Doesn't learn Ice Punch
>>33129762
That kinda depends; is the water generated from a Pokemon has the same properties as saliva, or is it just normal everyday water that you can cook so it's safe for consumption?
>>33128938
>in 2hu17
I want to believe
>>33130082
It is spit. Pokemon don't puke up distilled water.
>>33129762
I'd happily exchange saliva with a Pokemon
>>33128656
>killed
>second panel emotion doesn't match the statement even slightly
>>33130082
I figure the water is something they just magically create out of thin air, but since they generally attack by spitting it it's probably got some saliva in it.
Most problems are caused by people who think that the rpg part correlates with the story part in a 1:1 scale.
Since breloom is a fighting type with arms, and shroomish who doesn't have arms are part of the same family they share some moves.
Kyurem (base form) doesn't look like a pokemon who can punch, but his black form can, but since the original didn't have ice punch on his moveset, the black form doesn't either.
Game freak overlooks a lot of shit too.
>>33130275
It'd be less of a pain if Kyurem could at least learn Ice Fang, because it sure looks like it could at least do that.

Yeah, the kyurem case is just game freak incompetence, they just copypasted base kyurem moveset and added a few "cool" signature moves and called it a day.

...
le jakky chin may may is bretty gud
>>33130132
What about in the case with Blastoise? It shoots water from its cannons. That can't be saliva, right?
>>33130322
Stupid frogposter, LIGHTS OUT
None of these learned moves make any sense to me
Emboar: scald
Golurk: fly
Elgyem/Beeheeyem: steel wing (?????)
Rampardos (with its 65 base SpAtk...): tbolt, ice beam, flamethrower, blizzard, fire blast, thunder, earth power, whirlpool
Tangela: shock wave
Mega Charizard X: dream eater :^)
Natu: giga drain
Arcanine (Gen 1): teleport (!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?)
Wooper: dynamicpunch
Wailord: selfdestruct
Pangoro: dragon claw
Rhydon/Aggron: surf
Gliscor: sky uppercut
Magcargo/Clamperl evos/Mr. Mime: infestation
Heatran: bug bite
Tauros: whirlpool
Meowth: petal dance (easily the weirdest event move I've ever seen)
Marowak/Diglett: aerial ace
>>33132404

>Gliscor
BIG MEATY CLAWS upper cut you real good
>Marowak (not digglet)
Picture it as throwing its bone in a skillful manner
Any that i didn't mention is just so weird
>>33132404
I might be able to answer a couple of these...
>Golurk: fly
It's based on a giant mecha, which I believe are commonly known to fly.
>Gelgyem/Beeheeyem: steel wing
This might have just been an oversight that was left in for some reason. In Gen 4 the TM with that number was Ally Switch, but it became Steel Wing in Gen 5. Presumably it was going to be part of their move set but wasn't corrected when they changed the TM.
>Wailord: selfdestruct
Wailord is supposed to be some kind of blimp whale, so... My best guess would be a Hindenburg reference?
>Marowak/Diglett: aerial ace
Aerial Ace is named after a legendary sword maneuver in Japanese, which translates as "Swallow Reversal" which is why it is Flying type. Marowak's bone could feasibly be a stand in for a sword, but as for Diglett my best guess is that it's just another "slashing" move like Scratch, Cut, or Slash that Diglett can just learn because it presumably has claws.

>>33132480
*reading comprehension*
>>33132480
I meant that the TM being changed from Ally Switch to Steel Wing likely happened a bit later down the line in the transition to Gen 5, and when they were making the aliens Ally Switch was going to be part of their move set. When they later changed that TM to Steel Wing they forgot to remove it from their move sets before the game released and it just stuck.
>>33132404
Elgyem and Beeheeyem learn steel wing because it's TM 51. As in area 51. they're ayy lmaos.

>>33132465
>Aerial Ace is named after a legendary sword maneuver in Japanese, which translates as "Swallow Reversal" which is why it is Flying type
well that explains why garchomp can learn aerial ace.
>>33133839
Holy shit man. The fact that is floating in the air doesn't make its mass equal to zero.
By that logic you would be able to drag an aircraft carrier just by swimming.

Matter compressing.
Gastly compress one form Matter into another form of matter.
It compress oxygen/air/etc into ice.
