i got my kartana in a level ball too. Though i caught another in premier and another in fast, I primarily use the level ball one.
I don't like the animation for Moon Ball so I never used it.

I got a level ball kartana, caught another in a premier. I haven't caught all kartanas so I could wait which one I can trade for non beast ball pheromosa or celesteela, then catch the rest with the ball i traded away
I think i'm gonna catch guzzlord in beast or quick ball, but i already have one in beast ball from my first playthrough so I'm gonna go with quick

I got everything in my playthrough in Pokeballs which I've never done before. The only things that gave me trouble were both Xurkitrees and the Guzzlord.

When they're a mandatory capture, they typically have a catch rate of 45. Reshiram/Zekrom, Xerneas/Yveltal, Rayquaza, Solgaleo/Lunala.
