It's actually a pretty handy ability. Strong jaw is certainly good if you're going banded, but dazzling can allow you to get off a swords dance in a lot of opportunities where you'd otherwise be heavily damaged.
For example, dazzling completely fucks the common honedge set and turns it into setup fodder.
