I think they mean, in the cases of RSe, DPPT, HGSS, BW(or was it 2?), XY, and ORAS, the other gender appeared as a character. so they could work with that, especially in the case of RSE and ORAS where they clearly had different personalities.

Anyway, good chapter. I liked how they handled the first Totem of the manga. Baht was the cutest thing ever and I love it, and getting me to love it first, and having it appear as Totem later was an excellent way to introduce the concept of School Form.

I loved Lana this chapter. She seemed kind of bitchy last time, but she was actually pretty cute this time around. I'm starting to like her. And I'm extremely disappointed in Mallow so far. Hopefully, she'll get better with more screentime. I also enjoyed seeing Moon in this chapter. She was more fun. Though I have to agree with the anon who said Moon's personality is all over the place. Personally, I hope Kusaka sticks with the current playful schemer, smartass personality, but it seems like he's just throwing one trait after another at her, and then moving on to the next before exploring the first. It doesn't tie in well. It's kind of a clusterfuck. He seems to be trying to make her job as a pharmacist her core trait, but isn't doing a good enough job at it. Still though, I really enjoyed her in chapter. The schemer type doctor could be fun.

So what the fuck was up with XY? I saw the page where Lysandre fucking dies with a small blood splatter around him and then most of Kalos hates the MCs? What the fucky ducky is up with that and how does it get resolved?

Lysandre dies, but since TF controlled the media, no one really knows what he did. People don't 'hate' the MCs, but they don't know the suffering and sacrifice they went through. Everyone decides it's for the best just to go on with their lives without trying to force the issue.
